Meet Pam Rowley
Pam has worked with dogs for most of her life, building a reputation across South Manchester for calm, patient grooming and specialist support for nervous or anxious dogs.
What began as a Saturday job at a local pet shop developed into a lifelong career dedicated to dog grooming, canine behaviour, training and animal care.
Over the years, Pam has worked with dogs of all breeds, temperaments and backgrounds — including nervous, elderly, rescue and sensitive dogs who may need extra reassurance and patience during grooming.
Her approach has always focused on the emotional wellbeing of the dog first, creating a calm environment where trust is built gradually and every dog is treated as an individual.

A Philosophy of Calm Care
Pam believes grooming should never feel rushed, stressful or overwhelming for a dog.
Every dog is different, which is why appointments are tailored around each dog’s personality, confidence level and emotional needs. Time is taken to help dogs settle, relax and gradually build trust throughout the grooming process.
For nervous or anxious dogs, patience is often the most important part of the appointment. Calm handling, reassurance and positive experiences help many dogs become more comfortable and confident over time.
Whether your dog visits for grooming, teeth cleaning or specialist support, their wellbeing and comfort always come first.
Trusted By Owners Across South Manchester
Many owners have trusted Pam with their dogs for years.
Dogs visiting the salon include:
- Nervous and anxious dogs

Many dogs who initially find grooming difficult gradually become calmer and more confident through regular, patient visits.
